Our Impact Statement

Healthcare systems throughout the world are facing common and growing problems:

  • Rising healthcare costs, with massive levels of wasted expenditure
  • Ageing populations increasingly blighted by chronic conditions
  • Ineffective systems for sharing data in a way that protects patient privacy, leading to sclerotic progress on researching
  • Developing and rolling out new treatments
  • Intractable issues of inequality across income groups, within and between countries

In the face of these problems, patients, carers, clinicians, researchers and even governments feel disempowered and frustrated.

Carecircle has the ambition and the vision to change this. It has created the blueprints for solutions to all these problems and has already begun to develop and roll out the tools that will put the patient at the center of healthcare.  Our solution enables the rapid and safe sharing of health experience and data, globally, improving treatments, cutting wasted expenditure, reducing health inequalities and improving well-being for all age groups.

In doing so, it will help realize the WHOs goals for Universal Health Coverage:

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted an urgent need for effective digital tools and an unprecedented rush to implement eHealth services, including telemedicine consultation and digital contact tracing, in countries across the Region. This is most welcome, but there are risks involved, for example, in terms of human aspects of care and undermining of fundamental rights. The adoption of interoperable digital technologies for clinical and public health decision-making struggles to overcome technical and political hurdles. This flagship initiative complements initiatives from various countries and partner institutions by providing technical and policy guidance and expertise on the safety and efficacy of digital health solutions; and preserving health equity, gender equality, equity and human rights as core values in their deployment.

Carecircle is the world’s first social network designed specifically to support health and well-being for the patient and the wider health ecosystem in a native app environment.

With a range of concrete and conceptual product features, and designed at hyperscale, Carecircle is uniquely positioned to address global institutional concerns about sustainability and the impact of health delivery.

Our mission is to make health systems patient-centric, empowering the patient and carer to engage with health and wellbeing systems to promote healthier lives.

Sharing of information and data, breaking down organizational silos and strengthening the pathways between patient, clinician and scientist are at the heart of our product.

Carecircle believes in the principle of the UHC system, that access to health care and robust information is a fundamental human right and that patient’s own their own data and that this should only be used for the purposes of furthering medical science and strictly with their consent.

Inspired by personal experience, Carecircle’s development is informed by the documented strategic goals of the UN, the WHO and major health systems around the World; the problems and objectives are well documented, and the solutions are yet to be realised.
